Matthew Landman
CCMM
Over the past decade, Matt has evolved from a personal trainer to a fitness specialist. He believes that fitness goes far beyond just making you look good, it improves your health, well-being, quality of life and self-esteem. Most importantly, Matt understands the challenges and barriers that may be faced in life, but ultimately believes that how you respond to them determines how you live. Practical, functional training is about blending both balance and strength.
Matt grew up north of Boston excelling in soccer and basketball. As a star goalkeeper, he received a full scholarship and played Division 1 Soccer for the University of South Carolina. After a quick stint in the A-League, Matt pursued a career as a Special Ed-Teacher and Soccer Coach in Boston, MA. Frustrated by the bureaucracies within the public school systems, Matt sought after a career where he could both teach and help people feel better about them. After putting his teaching career on hold, Matt found that he could incorporate his passion for teaching with his natural love for fitness and athletics as a personal trainer. In 1999, Matt began working as a personal trainer. Spending countless hours in the gym, both as a student and a teacher of fitness, Matt soon was able to help people live better. Today, Matt continues to teach, coach and mentor. His love and never ending pursuit to evolve fitness practices have made him one of the top trainers in Fairfield County.

Matthew L. McDonald
Fitness has made it possible for Matt McDonald to make a living out of his lifestyle. With 13 years of football experience, Matt has logged countless hours in the weight room and track This has enabled him to couple his experience as an athlete, with the knowledge he has attained in his 10 years working as a personal trainer to help co-create Milos Methods.
A Fairfield native, after graduating from Fairfield high school, Matt went on to Marist college where in his senior year he became the first African American Captain of the football team leading them to their first MAAC championship. While there he received league honors and the Coachs Award of Excellence. Conducting spring training mini-camps, and assisting with off season power lifting programs were just part of his duties as captain, but they unknowingly set the stage for a career as a fitness specialist.
Matt's continuous search and development of new techniques, and tireless study of different philosophies in the world of health and fitness has been his most effective tool in finally developing a system that is simple, challenging, and evolving.
