Charity
"There is no better way to thank God for your sight than by giving a helping hand to someone in the dark." Helen Keller
The core of Milo's Methods is based around giving back to our clients and to the community. Understanding the importance of being grateful for what you have enables us to accept positive results in fitness and in life further helping us to understand the power of giving.
We look forward to supporting dynamic individuals and the community in many different ways. Below are the charities that we are currently involved in and/or support.
In memory of Anne Christine Landman
It is easier to give when you believe in a cause; when I was 3 years old my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. For the next 13 years of my life I watched her battle cancer with quiet dignity. It was important to her not to let cancer control her life because she had different plans. Unfortunately, I spent most of my childhood watching my mom become a human pincushion. During the course of her treatment not once did she complain. She never discussed being sick but there were times when it was unmistakable. The only time I was able to see a glimpse of the cancer was when she went through chemotherapy 5 different times. I can remember sitting on her bed watching TV with her and she would lightly touch her head where her hair used to be. She never cried aloud but the silent tears spoke volumes.
My mother, Chris Landman, lived her life to the fullest everyday. She loved her family and friends and refused to allow cancer to take away one second of her happiness. If my hair can help someone go through this process easier, why wouldnt I try and help?
Special thanks to Jeanine Chamberline my hairdresser and Pantene beautiful lengths program for helping adult women, during tough times.

Principles
"All great achievements require time." Maya Angelou
1. You will not get the results you want with out proper nutrition.
2. For a healthy person, the best way to get in shape is a balanced routine of strength, cardio and endurance exercises.
3. The body grows or shrinks as a unit.
4. Safety is the most important thing and you cannot workout if you are hurt.
5. Always push yourself to the next level of the exercise, thereby demanding results through increasing the challenge of your workouts.
6. When the body is not balanced, injury follows.
7. Fitness should make common sense. Everyone is built differently, so do not force your body into a bad position.
8. Not everything in life is fair. Work with what you got!
9. Life is about balance.
10. Consistency is the only way to get real results.
Teaching The Philosophy
Milo's Methods, established in 2008, focuses on a collaboration of strength training techniques evolved from more than a decade of practicing and studying fitness. Having spent years at the pinnacle of fitness, we have witnessed the evolutionary changes and trends within this industry, and have now established a method that goes one step further.
Milos Methods was conceived to break the common, yet factious notion and myths about fitness training. We've watched too many people spend endless hours at the gym with little to no results being gained. An effective workout is not measured by the hours spent in a gym or by the amount of weight lifted at one time. Milos Methods is about the intensity level, endurance and practical training. We guide our clients on how to read and react to their strengths and weakness. Because all people are created differently, we train clients based on their personal wants and needs.
Our goal is to not only build the physical strength of our clients, but also mental strength and passion. Milo Methods is about making people stronger!
